4Already for the 10th time the unique Castell Son Claret opens its doors in March this year. The scenic property, amidst gorgeous natural scenery and a paradisiacal garden, offers discerning guests an oasis of tranquility. Castell Son Claret, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, is located at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains in Calvià and is unique with its lovingly and faithfully restored 41 rooms and suites in the historic castle. The owners, Christine and Klaus-Michael Kühne, have made a point of not only respectfully remodeling the rooms and castle, but also preserving the extensive gardens as much as possible. Culinary delights are provided by chef José Forteza in the Olivera restaurant.
Special Event at Luxury Castell Son Claret
On the occasion of this anniversary, some special events are planned during the year.
An artist workshop for art enthusiasts with painter Carolina Amigo will provide a behind-the-scenes look at Son Claret’s artwork.
Music enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth, spending an afternoon with the chief conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Baleares (OSIB), Pablo Mielgo, learning about his SaludArte Foundation and the artistic and social commitment that music can bring.
A very special highlight also this year are the summer concerts Castell Classics 2023 with an outstanding cast. On just three evenings in June, July and August, the 5-star luxury hotel will host its Castell Classics with performances from some of Europe’s most renowned opera houses, the Salzburg Opera Festival, the Leipzig Opera House and the Teatro de Maggio Fiorentino. The Classic Event kicks off on June 15 with the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singer Project…. On July 27, international stars Olena Tokar and Dmytro Choni will be guests, and on August 10, singers from the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Academy will offer an evening of Italian arias.
