This March, the unique Castell Son Claret will open its doors for the 10th time. The country estate, nestled amidst a dreamlike natural backdrop and a paradisiacal garden, offers a tranquil oasis for sophisticated guests. Castell Son Claret, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, is located at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains in Calvià, and with its 41 lovingly and authentically restored rooms and suites in the historic castle, it is truly one of a kind. The owners, Christine and Klaus-Michael Kühne, have placed great importance not only on respectfully redesigning the rooms and the castle, but also on preserving the extensive gardens as much as possible. Culinary delights are provided by head chef José Forteza in the restaurant Olivera.

Special Events at Castell Son Claret

On the occasion of this anniversary, several special events are planned throughout the year.

An artist workshop for art enthusiasts with the painter Carolina Amigo offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the artworks of Son Claret.

Music lovers will also get their money's worth, spending an afternoon learning from the chief conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Baleares (OSIB), Pablo Mielgo, about his SaludArte Foundation and the artistic and social commitment it strives for through music.

This year too, the summer concerts are a very special highlight Castell Classics 2023 with an outstanding cast. Over just three evenings in June, July and August, the 5-star luxury hotel hosts its Castell Classics with performances from some of Europe's most prestigious opera houses, the Salzburg Opera Festival, the Leipzig Opera House and the Teatro de Maggio Fiorentino. The Classic Event kicks off on 15 June with the Young Singer Project of the Salzburg Festival. On 27 July, international stars Olena Tokar and Dmytro Choni will be guests, and on 10 August, singers from the Academy of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino will offer an evening full of Italian arias.
